FAQs

Device

What is the minimum age to use VAPOR Pro?

This product is only suitable for healthy and skilled swimmers over 16 years of age.

Is it normal for VAPOR Pro to slow down after a few seconds in the air?

This is normal. The motor is not designed to run in air at any speed. For safety, the product reduces speed after 5 seconds when the motor runs in air.

Does VAPOR Pro sink when released?

This product has slightly positive buoyancy. When released in water, it will slowly float to the surface.

What are the dimensions and weight of VAPOR Pro?
  • Dimensions: 54.4 cm (L) × 37.9 cm (W) × 28.8 cm (H)
  • Weight: 8.7 kg (19.2 lb), including the battery.
How deep can VAPOR Pro be used?

The operating depth is 0–40 m (0–131 ft).

How does VAPOR Pro turn on/off?

Toggle and hold the Power Control Switch for 3 seconds.

How many speed modes does VAPOR Pro have, and how do I switch them?

There are four speed modes:

  • First gear: 6 km/h (3.73 mph);
  • Second gear: 8 km/h (4.97 mph);
  • Third gear: 10 km/h (6.21 mph);
  • Fourth gear: 12 km/h (7.46 mph).

Gear 4 is unavailable when battery power is below 30%.
Press the speed button once to move to the next mode; there are four modes in total.
When operating in Gear 4, VAPOR Pro automatically switches to Gear 3 after 2 consecutive minutes. Gear 4 remains unavailable below 30% battery.

What's the running time of VAPOR Pro at full battery?
  • Typical duration: 60 min
  • First gear duration: 45 min
  • Second gear duration: 30 min
  • Third gear duration: 18 min
  • Fourth gear duration: 2 min × 5 at Gear 4 + 6 min at Gear 3

Gear 4 delivers top speed for up to 2 consecutive minutes before automatically shifting to Gear 3 to prevent overheating. It can be re-engaged immediately and used for up to five cycles (10 minutes total).

The remaining 30% battery capacity provides up to 6 minutes of runtime in Gear 3. Gear 4 is unavailable when the battery level is below 30%.

Note:

  • Typical duration is the average maximum time when fully charged and used intermittently under normal conditions.
  • Gear duration is the average maximum time when fully charged and operated continuously in each gear.
How does the motor run?

The motor runs when the Motor Control Trigger is pressed and stops when released.

How are the VAPOR Pro parameters set?

Press the button in the center of the on-screen control button under the main page to enter the setting page, and then refer to the corresponding key definitions shown on the screen for operation.

Press the button in the center of the on-screen control button under the main page to enter the setting page, and then refer to the corresponding key definitions shown on the screen for operation.

Can VAPOR Pro provide depth warning and depth change rate settings?

For the depth warning setting, set the warning value according to your needs. When the actual depth reaches the set value, the motor will stop until it returns within the warning limit.

For the depth change rate setting, select a specific value or no restriction. When the rate exceeds the set value, the motor will stop to reduce risks caused by excessive depth changes. This function is disabled when no restriction is selected.

Why should VAPOR Pro be calibrated before use?

VAPOR Pro uses multiple sensors. Long-distance transportation or prolonged use without calibration may cause parameter drift. Calibration helps improve parameter accuracy.

Can VAPOR Pro run in air?

Do not run it for more than 10 seconds outside the water, to protect the motor. If an abnormal condition occurs, such as a burnt smell, immediately release the trigger to stop the machine and disconnect the power and control systems.

Does VAPOR Pro have external support?

Compatible accessories include a sports camera adapter bracket, diving straps, and a safety rope.

Can VAPOR Pro connect to the SublueGo App?

It can connect to the SublueGO APP. After connection, you can use the APP to configure settings, share user data, and access the self-diagnosis and self-cleaning features.
